Where did the name come from? – Natural + Sustainable + Eco-Friendly Dog Beds

The chap to the right is Stinky.

He was our first Ram and a Jacob breed of sheep.

Sadly he is no longer with us but he certainly helped us on our way and remains a huge part of the inspiration behind what we want to achieve. Hence it seems only right to use his name.

Why Stinky?

We didn’t name him. He was named by the farmer we bought him from. He was hand reared and we got him as a 4 month old lamb.

Being hand reared, he was an incredibly cheeky chap and the name stuck.

Me and my dogs absolutely love our new beds for our travel crates!

We are blown away on how amazing they are... and made to measure, they are perfect for shoot days resting up between drives and your everyday muddy walks and super easy to clean!

We love our stinky ram bed, bought it as its a local UK business focusing in sustainable materials and its a brilliant... quality bed! Our pup has just had surgery so sadly has had to spend a lot of time in his crate recovering but its been a comfort to know he is really snug and supported on his bed and I definitely feel like he settles better compared to the previous bed. We also bought the wax dressing and after one application the bed looks and feels like new again! I cannot thank Penny and the team at Stinky Ram HQ. I’ve had several dog beds from them now. I made a request a couple... weeks ago to custom a bed for the back of my land rover. It’s absolutely perfect. I brought a stinky ram bed and I'm blown away.. Its absolutly amazing..
My 2 labs adore it 😍 penny was... amazing I ordered past the date for crimbo as there was no rush at all but she got it made and sent by Christmas how amazing is that!!
Anybody debating about getting one of these then I can assure u it's the best bed ever!! And trust me I have spent a lot of money over the years in dog beds that last 5 minuites.. This bed is so durable, thick and heavy u can tell its going to last for ages!!

Our two rescue pups, Basil and Ginger, are absolutely loving their new Stinky Ram beds (size L in Olive and Seaweed... Green) 😍. They’re so beautifully well-crafted and properly stuffed! Because the beds are quite heavy and the seams are lower down they’re much less inclined and able to chew on them as well, so we haven’t had any troubles there (fingers crossed 🤞). Life changing bed. Having two very large, hairy, filth attracting dogs, the kitchen used to be a dust bowl situation.... Beds would get ingrained with sand, fur and anything else they brought in from out. Now, I just take it outside, give it a brush, job's done.. .. no more unclogging of washing machine filter.
Both dogs love the bed rain or shine. Bodi even destroyed a bone whilst sat on it the other day.... all the mess just brushed off. Brilliantread more
